Service Description

Our new service is to apply our knowledge and expertise in offering a free service of accessing your item and providing our estimate of its current market value. Our parent company—Sonoma County Sales—is an estate- and business-liquidation service company, where we collect and sell virtually every item one can think of; from day-to-day items, art, furniture, boats, vehicles, machinery, tools, and many other unique items. We have done this for several years, and are quite proficient at accessing items’ value. We are not licensed or “professional” appraisers, but we feel we are fully qualified to provide practical real-life values of a vast array of different items. We want to share our knowledge and help others in the process—as well as hopefully form some new friendships and increase our customer base along the way. Again, we are not licensed appraisers, and our assessment is solely our professional opinion; nothing else. We will simply furnish you our opinion of the value of your item, based on our experiences with similar items. We hope this will be helpful. This service is not only limited to books. It can be any item, as long as it is legal to possess, and not a firearm. There is no charge whatsoever for this service. We offer this service via two methods. The first is scheduling an appointment on our website for a free and private fifteen-minute assessment of your item. The second is to attend one of our SCS Roadshow events, where we set aside a few hours on a specific date and are open for walk-ins. We are very excited, and look forward to providing this free service.
