Book Review: The Astral Library Kate Quinn

The Astral Library is a really fun read - the pace is fast and you quickly connect and relate to the characters. While it's in the genre of fantasy, it also serves as an important reminder of why books and libraries matter to civilation. The author asks the question, have you ever wished you could live in your favorite book? The main character, Alix, falls on hard times and is ultimately wisked away into a parallel universe filled with stories we know and love. The Librarian in this new world shows Alix places we could all dream of - but not without danger of course. Will Alix find a better world, start a new romance, or save the world evil?
