In this science fiction collection, we are comparing the books and movies for Ready Player One, Contact, and Project Hail Mary.
First, on Friday May 8, 2026 at 7:00PM, we will show the movie "Ready Player One". The 2011 the novel by Earnest Cline is set in a dystopian 2045, where teenager Wade Watts hunts for a hidden Easter egg within the OASIS, a vast virtual reality utopia. The 2018 film was directed by Steven Speilbert
