About the event
Friday May 8, 2026 at 7:00PM, we will show the movie "Ready Player One". The 2011 the novel by Earnest Cline is set in a dystopian 2045, where teenager Wade Watts hunts for a hidden Easter egg within the OASIS, a vast virtual reality utopia. The 2018 film was directed by Steven Spielberg.
After the showing, we will have approximately 45 minutes for a moderated discussion about the similarities and differences of the book and movie.
